Flowers Legacy Saga

Maybe Neil’s ghost felt something was bound to happen to this family, but on that night he decided to go hauting for the first time. He went straight to the easel and applauded like he had just sold one of his famous masterpieces.

Then he went over to the cowplant and teased him while feeding meat. That will teach the cowplant to eat an innocent man on a mission!

Unaware of what was going on downstairs, Anna had gone into labor and had heavy contractions. She was determined to keep walking around though. Basil was intrigued by what happened to his mom. He had only been a child when Basil was born and he hadn’t been there. Now he didn’t want to miss it. Remington was busy preparing the crib and getting some boiled water.

Fortunately Remington was back for the actual birth and saw with his own eyes how Anna gave birth to his daughter. They named her Barbara and they were absolutely in love with the little girl already. Apparently she had her father’s skintone, but her mother’s eyes and haircolor.

While Anna was resting from the hard work she had had to do, Remington took care of his daughter, fed her and cuddled her and then put her in her crib. He had always wanted a family, but he had never known how much he would be touched by the birth of his own child. He was very happy he had met Anna and that they were married. Barbara was just the blessing of their being together and nothing in the world would ever tear them apart.

In the meanwhile Basil was concentrating on other things, on Sophie to be specific. The first kiss had made them both curious and they spent the evening on Basil’s room, trying to explore as much as they could. Anna and Remington were way too busy to keep an eye on Basil and Beau was asleep.

Basil and Sophie hardly could wait to go to college. That would give them the opportunity to go all the way together because they would be away from their parents.

The first days after Barbara’s birth Anna had to remain in bed most of the time to regain her strength. She called Felicia to come over and admire her daughter, but Felicia couldn’t make it. Apparently she was too busy with problems of her own, of which she would soon inform Anna. Although she lived in Flower Valley too, Felicia didn’t come over more frequently.

When Anna was recovered, she planned to start practising as an ecological guru again. Fortunately, Remington’s schedule allowed her to. She had to miss the birthdays of Beau and Barbara however, but she already kissed them and congratulated them before leaving for work.

Remington took care of the birthday cake and made sure it was a moment to remember for Beau. They had decided not to throw a party after all the family had been through. Only Marsha who had come with Beau from school attended the big moment.

While everyone cheered him on, Beau made his transition to teenager and decided to choose popularity as an aspiration. He wanted never to feel as lonely again as he had felt during childhood.

Marsha left after eating some cake. Then Remington brought out another cake to celebrate Barbara’s first birthday. He brought her to the cake, made a wish for her and blew out the candles.

In her father’s arms she grew up to become a cute little toddler who looked a lot like her mother. In her personality she seemed more like her father although a bit less playfull and nicer.

Remington wanted to waste not a single moment and immediately took Barbara to the nursery to teach her to talk. He wanted to do that himself, so he could surprise Anna when she came home early in the morning.

Basil and Beau headed over to the livingroom to dance together. They really felt like partying and wanted to be able to dance well to impress others. They had a lot of fun and were glad to have each other as a brother. They also confessed to each other they liked how Remington had taken care of the birthday’s. He had been very attentive to all of them.

When Anna returned the next morning, she really was in need of a shower.

But when she went around the house she was very pleased at what she saw. She heard Barbara talking to her and she saw Beau’s new clothes. She was very happy with Remington as her husband and her family and she was hoping it would remain like that for ever.
